“The best way out is always through”.
I started to write this post numerous amounts of times but I didn’t know what to say or how to say. Therefore, I’m going to try and keep this blog post pretty short. For those of you who don’t follow me on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter, my father suddenly passed away on November 30th, which is why I have been MIA for the past month or so. This post is mainly an update on what happened, where I am and what I’m doing.
December has been so physically, emotionally and mentally exhausting. My mom, sister and I had so much work to do while managing my dad’s private practice which was super challenging because we never dealt with office work in the past. Our lives have been turned upside down but we are surely getting through this difficult time with determination and the help of my wonderful family and supportive best friends.
As most of you all know, I lived in Lexington for the past 5 years but I moved back home to West Virginia to take care of so many things and of course, to be with my mom. My Center Court Condo near UK’s campus is now on the market! Besides my condo being on sale, we all decided the best thing to do in order to move forward with our lives is to move from our small town in West Virginia—my home for the past 20 years is officially on the market as well. It makes me a little sad because that’s been “home” for my entire life but I’m excited for a fresh, new start in the near future for all of us.
We still have so much stuff to do but nothing compared to the workload that literally slapped us in the face last month. Keeping myself busy is exactly what I need, especially since we are accomplishing more and more everyday. With the workload slowly winding down, I will be blogging more often, (hopefully 3-4 times a week)! I have so many blog posts, collaborations and reviews that have been put on hold due to this unfortunate event but I will get back on it ASAP. Thank you for the messages and comments you all have sent me throughout these past couple of weeks, it means so much and I appreciate everyone who has been asking about a new post. Last year was such a great success with The Panwar Palace and I hope to blog even more this year!
Happy New Year, ya’ll!
