Kelley West Microderm360 Review

Hi ladies (& gents)!

So this past October I was sent the Kelley West Microderm360, you all may have seen my post a while back on social media about it. I was BEYOND excited to receive this product for two reasons: One being the fact that the marketing team behind Kelley West FOUND me and, of course, because my skin was yearning for help, literally. At the time, I was struggling with hyper pigmentation and dark spots left behind from Accutane. I’m so thankful and excited that this Microderm360 was sent to me but, unfortunately, I wasn’t able to take progress pictures the way I had initially intended. Regardless, I’m going to inform you all on as much information possible about this magical little device!

What is it?

After posting a preview video on social media (which you can view below), many people messaged me asking what microdermabrasion is. For those of you who don’t know, microdermabrasion is now an at home technique that can change the way your skin looks and feels with time and patience. It’s known to be an “at home face lift”, pretty intriguing right? It’s basically a technique of buffing away the top layer of dead skin cells with tiny, microscopic crystals and suction revealing soft, new skin underneath.

What does it do?

According to online research and reading the reviews on the Microderm360 website, the Kelley West Microderm360 can:

  • Improve age spots and black heads
  • Remove thicker, uneven outer layer of skin
  • Reduce scarring, discoloration and sun damage
  • Improve hyperpigmentation (patches of darkened skin)
  • Exfoliate your skin, resulting in a refreshed appearance
  • Lessen the appearance of stretch marks
  • Reduce fine lines, wrinkles, “11 o’clock” lines
  • Reduce or eliminate enlarged pores
  • Help increase your collagen production for younger looking complexion

How to use it?

First of all, check out my quick video clip on how I use my Kelley West Microderm360 by clicking HERE and don’t forget to like my Facebook page for updates!

I use the Kelley West Microderm360 twice a week and only in the evenings. I’ve talked about cell turnover and collagen production during our sleep cycle so rejuvenating our skin before bed is the best way to go when using your Microderm360. I first clean my face and make sure no oils or any type of makeup residue is left behind. I apply a brand new filter, topped off with the diamond tip and turn the device to the first (slow) setting for my face. My skin is sensitive, especially around my face area so I want to be as gentle as possible. Holding my skin tight and taut, I sweep the Microderm360 in upward strokes only. You want to avoid going over the same area more than once to prevent damage to the skin. Keep in mind; you must avoid your eye area! I accidently went too close to my eyes and it was SO PAINFUL. The Kelley West Microderm360 can be used all over your body including your neck, hands, feet and arms! For my neck and hands, I use the second setting (high) setting since our skin there is thicker and not as sensitive as our faces. After using the Microderm360, I wash my face again, apply a serum then top it off with a moisturizer. Instantly my skin feels so fresh and clean from within, I absolutely love it.

My thoughts:

I can definitely tell a difference in the texture of my skin: it’s smoother and more radiant after using the Microderm360. I can also visually see that my pores have shrunk immensely which is something I have been struggling with recently. I really enjoy using this product and I do believe it’s worth every penny, (especially if you get this done at the spa/salon where one treatment can cost up to $200). Not only has the Microderm360 helped the texture of my skin, it’s made my skincare products more effective which is huge plus for me. My brightening serum penetrates through my skin a lot easier as well as my moisturizers and facial sprays. Also, I’m the type of person who needs to “see it to believe it” so whenever I change the filter, I can visually see the dirt and grime that is suctioned out from my skin. Gross, but it assures me I didn’t waste my time and that the product is effective. Another thing I love about this Microderm360 is that it’s electronic so I don’t have to worry about batteries dying on me whenever I’m traveling or on the road. It’s simple, compact, travel friendly and effective. Since I received this product, I’ve incorporated this into my skincare routine and instantly fell in love. If you struggle with dark spots, acne, hyper pigmentation or blackheads, I would highly recommend this. I read that this Microderm360 also helps with fine lines, wrinkles and stretch marks-I have yet to see those changes but hopefully with consistency (on my end), I will see some changes.

Check out the Kelley West Microderm360 Website and let me know if you all plan on trying out Microdermabrasion!

Love Always,

<3 Megan
